PRESS RELEASE – Closure of the Apia International Port – 19th to 26th October 2024.
Apia – 01st June 2024: The Samoa Ports Authority wishes to advise all its stakeholders and the general public that, the Apia International Port will be closed from the 19th until the 26th October 2024, to all arriving and departing ships.
The closure will allow for the berthing of the Cruise Liner, Pacific Explorer, accommodating some of the guests who will be in Samoa, for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in October, to ensure the safety of everyone during this important event.
The Authority regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thank its stakeholders and the public for understanding and continued cooperation.
