May 2 (SeeNews) - Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Thursday its after-tax profit from operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased to 19 million euro ($20.4 million) in the first quarter of 2024, up 36.5% on the year.
Raiffeisen Bank's operating income in Bosnia rose 11.2% year-on-year to 36 million euro in the January-March period, the parent bank said in an interim financial report.
RBI's net interest income from Bosnian operations came in at 22 million euro in the first quarter of 2024, some 16.4% higher compared with the same period a year earlier, while net fee and commission income was 5.1% higher at 13 million euro.
General administrative expenses went up 5.8% on the year to 15 million euro in the period under review.
