STUART — Ever wanted to learn how to sail? Take a class with the St. Lucie Sailing Club.

Find out more about the club at the Port Salerno Seafood Festival.

From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 27, the St. Lucie Sailing Club will have a booth at the festival. Stop by to learn more about sailing or to sign up for classes.

Founded in 1975, the St. Lucie Sailing Club is a community of more than 100 members who share a common interest in sailing.

Club's programs include weekly races in the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, as well as opportunities for cruising and social events.

Learn more at the monthly membership meetings, which also provides social time to discover common interests with other members.

The meetings and the online 'matchup' service, enable crew and skippers to make connections.

Social activities include a monthly meet-and-greet, Sailing & Margaritas, at various restaurants around town, as well as dinner parties, raft-ups, and annual events.

St. Lucie Sailing Club also publishes a social calendar in its monthly newsletter.
