A 44-year-old man was criminally prosecuted after trying to bring 30,000 undeclared euros into Albania.

During the controls carried out by the border police of the port of Vlora at the entrance of the Republic of Albania, the "Toyota" type vehicle, which was driven by the 44-year-old man with the initials MA, was passed to the second line, for detailed control.

From the checks, 30,000 euros were found in the dashboard of this vehicle, which he tried to bring into Albania, without declaring it in accordance with the laws in force.

Following the procedural actions for the case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the MA citizen, 44 years old, resident in Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border", as the amount of money was also seized.
